Cubic Defense Applications signs major corporate AllChange deal

US based Cubic Defense Applications, providers of live combat training systems, virtual training systems, tactical battlefield systems and avionics products, has signed a corporate site license deal for AllChange.

AllChange will be used by Cubic to replace a number of existing disparate systems to streamline their change and configuration management process. It will also play a key role in achieving process compliance as part of their CMMI Level 3 certification.

AllChange will be key not only in managing all software projects, but also as having the potential for a much wider application throughout Cubic, in areas not traditionally associated with change and configuration management.

AllChange helps Serco meet key objectives for a configuration management system

The primary business objectives for Serco's Configuration Management system were identified as:

  • The establishment and maintenance of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) comprising technical elements and their configuration.
  • The tracking of changes to the Configuration Items and baselines over time.
  • The establishment of top-level Configuration Item relationships.
