What do other people do with AllChange?
Australian Department of Defence
Defence Service CentreThe Defence Service Centre is part of the Australian Government Department of Defence, which consists of the Australian Defence Force - members of the Navy, Army and Air Force - and civilians in the Australian Public Service.
They use AllChange to assist in the management of their helpdesk system. Specifically it is used for checking in and out and version/source control. The source is XML (iET Enterprise), Java and bespoke applications for CTI integration.
The CR side of things is used by defence staff only and they have customised this extensively to suit their own particular needs, in particular classes and lifecycles.
They log all issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions of which there are typically 3 per build through AllChange. These are then used to control modification to the source and build of the final release. Their system also makes good use of 'affects' relationships.
